Portfolio - Regional Branding - KIP (Knowledge Industry Partnership)
"Success in the new economy will be increasingly concentrated in those regions with the right combination of smart people and good ideas. It is crucial that Greater Philadelphia be well positioned to capitalize and build upon its existing base of knowledge assets"
Greater Philadelphia's
Knowledge Industry:
Leveraging the Region's Colleges and Universities in the New Economy (2000)
The Knowledge Industry Partnership was a three-year, multi-million dollar effort to show that Philadephia is truly "OneBigCampus"; not only a great choice for college, but also a great place to launch a careeer. Innovative leaders from the Greater Philadelphia Tourism Marketing Corporation, the City of Philadelphia, the Pennsylvania Economy League, Innovation Philadelphia, Campus Philly and Collegia spearheaded this initiative under the leadership of University of Pennsylvania former president Judith Rodin.
